Welome to the world, beautiful!!!!!!

Braelyn Paige Alexander was born today at 3:41 pm at URHCS. She is is 7 pounds 9 ounces and 20 inches long. She is absolutely the most perfect baby! Congrats Jenn, Stevie, and the rest of the family!! We have all waited so long to see you, angel....and you were well worth the wait!

What a whirlwind of a day......I got to hospital at 8:00 am and sat and sat and sat.....they broke her water at about 9:00 am (I didn't look, I swear!) and I almost cried because I could tell it hurt her soooo bad. But she was a super trooper and did amazing!! They gave her the epidural at 10:30 am and then checked her again at 12:30 and she dialated to a 5. Well, at about 2:00, I left to go to my bank really fast and my phone starts ringing....it was Jenn's sister, Jessica.....and right then I knew!! hahaha! I answered and Jess said "She's a 10....she's about to push!! HURRY AND GET BACK HERE!!" lol....I'd been there allllllllll day and Braelyn decides to come 2 minutes after I left. But she pushed for an hour so I was there when Braelyn was born....thank goodness!! I turned right around and sped and ran red lights to make it there on time! Haha.

Right when I saw Jenn, I started crying.....she was so happy and emotional and I couldn't help it. I could see so much love in her eyes. You are going to be such an amazing mother. I love you Jenn....you are my best friend, my sister, my angel! I'm so happy for you both. You are going to be the best parents Braelyn could ever ask for.

So as most of you already know, my position was eliminated at BCBS. I was an "affected" employee of a layoff....don't start feeling sorry me. LOL. It was a great job but I am doing awesome. I got a great severance package and am still insured for a few months. And if by some chance I don't have a job by the time I stop getting paid by BCBS, I am eligible for unemployment....which ends up being more money than I was making at work. LOL. How'd that happen? I guess I was just lucky! Haha. Getting paid to sit on my ass...and shop all day. Anyways, I like working so I am looking for something but I am being VERY VERY picky. I got plenty of time to wait for an awesome job to come along. I have already gotten a job offer and turned it down. There are plenty of good prospects. I will update everyone on my job search. Or I may just go ahead and be a stay at home mommy. ; )

So me and my boys went to Dallas Monday for my Dr appt ANOTHER emg......which sucked soooo bad. But it went well and I got good results...and Brian was there holding my hand the whole time. I didn't even cry!!!! He was proud and he felt sorry for me and in Daniel's words, I'm a "spoiled brat" so Brian took me to the Coach outlet and hooked me up!!!! haha! I was in Heaven. We also went to JFK Memorial again since Daniel had never been there and then we ate at Hooters. Daniel got dissed by the waitress...lol...it was priceless! We had a good little trip. OMG and my freaking Chi broke so I had to get a new one. Brian picked out the polka dot one and it came with a cute little mini Chi so I'm good to go. lol

Jenn's baby shower turned out AMAZING. It was beautiful and all of the important people showed up. She had a great turn out. She looked gorgeous as always and she got SOOOOOO much stuff. Braelyn is set!!!
