Well, its been almost 4 months since I've updated. I feel like a total slacker. I've been working my ass off. I got an amazing promotion at work, so I've transferred to a new area and still getting used to it. I'm SOOOO in love with my new job. I am a Financial Specialist and Bariatric Coordinator for United Regional. I don't know how I got so lucky to land such an amazing job that I truly love and that truly fulfills me....(totally more amazing money too!!). As a promotion gift, my husband bought me a 2008 Cadillac CTS. Its effing FABULOUS!!!! Besides adjusting to my new life, I've been trying to spend alot of time with my family and my Jenn Jenn. No complaints for this girl. The new house is wonderful as well. We have pretty much gotten it completely renovated. We've done sooooo much work to it and its exciting to see it all come together and see my visions realized. Well, I better peace out. Its late and I feel like a freakin zombie! Much love!!

So, we are settled into our new, AMAZING home. Life couldn't be any better and we couldn't be any happier. Its crazy how much life changes in a year. I can't believe we are married, in a new house, and working on adding a little Pichoff to the mix. This has been such a wonderful ride. We have been renovating the house for the last 3 weeks and we are about 50% done. I will definitely post pictures soon. I couldn't have asked for a better house. It has everything we wanted and so much more. I never thought a house like this would be mine...and it feels absolutely amazing. Besides that, we have just been working and spending time with friends and family. Definitely happy with the direction life has taken me. I get to see my besties pretty much every day. I'm happppppppy girl.

Soooo..........We sold our house!!! WHOOHOO!! It was officially on the market for 5 days. The people who bought it just fell in love and offered asking price! Easy enough. We signed all the paperwork today. We have been looking at houses for 2 weeks. I can't wait to see where we the Pichoff's are gonna end up moving to! We love this gorgeous, HUGE house with a swimming pool. YAY!! We will put in a offer this week and see where it goes. I'm a happpppy girl right now. I can't believe how well everything in my life is falling into place. 2010 was awesome and so far, 2011 is giving 2010 a run for its money. We are soooooo in love and happier than ever. I have the best husband in the world!!!!

Well, this is the first free second I've had in weeks. I hope everyone had a great xmas!! Mine was AWESOME!!! My perfect hubby spoiled me rotten, as always. : ) And my mommy went way overboard on us. God, I love that woman more than life. Well, my husband starts his new job next week. I am soooooooo freakin excited!! We have started house shopping lately and I can't wait to move on up. We were originally going to sell this house, but I think we are just going to rent it out.
I'm still totally loving married life. I really married the most dedicated, unconditional loving, giving, selfless man in the entire world. It took soooo long to train him to be this way but it was worth all the bs we went thru to get to this point.
Man man man....not much to say....soooo damn tired. I guess I'm gonna go put my baby to bed and lay it down. Nighty night.

Whew, so glad this week is almost over. My biopsy was normal and I don't have cancer!! WHOOHOO!!! Brian and I also had our consultation with my obgyn and started our pregnancy plan. I'm on prenatal vitamins and b-12 right now. They are nasssssssssty!!!! So, its been awhile since I've updated this damn thing. So much has happened. We got the sweetest little puppy EVER. He is a daddy's boy but he loves his momma too. We just love him to pieces. Oh and the wedding pictures are done. You can go to amyhobbsphotography.smugmug.com to view them. They just turned out amazing, just like my dream wedding. We still have people telling us it was the nicest, most touching wedding they'd ever been to. That means so much to us. Life as a married couple have been amazing!!!! Idk why I didn't do this sooner!!! He deserves the best....and I think he got it...lolol. I don't know what I did to deserve such an amazing man. Oh and I chopped my hair off SUPER short...and ended up hating it so I put extensions in....they look amazing. The other day...me, Brian, my sister, and brother-in-law were all minding our own business at the mall and some random lady walked up to me and said "OMG you look like Britney Spears, honey" Totally made my day. I'm back!!!!!!! I am seriously in my prime. I look better than ever, have an awesome job, and awesome husband that would do ANYTHING for me, awesome friends, and awesome family............sooooo blessed. I wish this happiness on everyone out there. : ) Life hasnt always been easy and I've made alot of bad decisions in the past....but I am lucky enough to have the unconditional love of my hubby that has gotten me thru everything. I ALWAYS land on my feet. It feels amazing to finally be in my happy place. Everyone always remember that in order to experience the purest bliss, you must first crawl from the depths of despair.

So, Saturday was my wedding day. Everything went SOOO absolutely amazing. It was the wedding of my dreams. My cake was perfect, his cake (xbox) was crazy awesome, the centerpieces were beautiful, the backdrop was flawless, the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch....it was just really, truly, perfect. Brian surprised me with a very touching slideshow from us when we were kids, all of the pictures we've ever taken together, and our engagement pictures. Our first dance was "You Save Me" by Kenny Chesney and my father/daughter dance was "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw. We had a FULL HOUSE, the food was sooooooo yummy and everyone had a great time. It couldn't have gone any better. The menu cards, programs, and all of the other stationary turned out great. There wasn't a dry eye in the house as we were exchanging our own vows. His best friend, my best friend, and my sister all gave toasts and I cried my eyes out. They were so sweet. The day started off amazing (in our 2 story presidential suite where the girls got ready in) and ended amazing (in our honeymoon suite). It was the most precious and perfect day of my life. We are on our honeymoon now and will be back Friday. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. Each one of you made the day that much more special. I will post pictures ASAP!! In the meantime, I'm going to post a slideshow of our engagement pictures. These were a BLAST!!! : )

So, it has been brought to my attention that I haven't updated my blog much since I got my facebook......and now the blog is feeling a little left out. :( Well, after 3 weeks of being on pins and needles, I finally get good news on my mammogram......it was just fatty tissue. Whew!! I FELT a million times better until, literally, 2 hours later when my other Dr. called with not-so-great news. Now back to pins and needles for another 3 weeks until I can get my biopsy done. I am so sick of this stress just weighing down on my mind. I have so much going on right now and sooo much stress. I'm just so grateful for the amazing people I have in my life as my support system. On a brighter note, this last week was a BLAST! I had my office shower last Thursday and it turned out soooo beautifully. We got more stuff than we know what to do with. And then I was off Friday and me, my mom, and Brian went to Dallas to our engagement pics and my bridal portraits. We started our day off at the Botanic Gardens and we took pics for SIX hours. Brian was such a good sport. The pictures look sooooo amazing. You can click on my amazing photographers website (to the right) and view them. She will be adding them periodically because she is still editing them. Then we left the men at home and left for the Fort Worth Stockyards for my bridal portraits. I never knew what "15 minutes of fame" actually meant until I got outta that car in my wedding dress. It was so fun tho. I was getting claps, cheers, whistles, random tourists taking pictures of me....it was a freakin blast. I took pics in a candy shop, on a mechanical bull (don't ask), with a horse drawn princess carriage, walking down the cobblestone main street with a red parasol, up in a window archway, and handcuffed.....I even had my rights read to me....weird. lol. We had soooo much fun. It was just what I needed to help my bridal nerves. Then the next day was my baby niece, Braelyn's birthday party. She got sooooo much stuff and everyone had a great time. And she ate almost her entire cake!! It was sooooo precious. Well, time to go watch tv with my hubby to be. Love ya'll and hope you have a great week!!

So, I like to think that I am very reliable, dependable, caring, thoughtful, and courteous. I would give my worst enemy the shirt off of my back if they needed it. And I'd do ANYTHING for my friends. When I was in 5th grade, I had a birthday party....my last birthday party. We rented a huge pool, bought all kinds if food, cake, games, everything and I invited tons of people. I looked forward to this birthday for months. Well, ONE person showed up...and it was the friend that we picked up on the way there. I was totally and completely heartbroken, and on that day I swore that I would never have another birthday party again. And I didn't. In the last 3 years, I have thrown countless birthday parties, 5 baby showers, an anniversary party, and many more...absolutely not expecting anything in return. So, finally, it was my turn. I'm getting married in 5 weeks and yesterday was my bridal shower. I had been fearing it for 7 months because I was sooooo worried about people not showing up and I would end up devastated just as I was 15 years ago. While I had a great turnout, there were a few people that were expected to come....people that I had gone out of my way for, spent my hard earned money on, been their shoulder to cry on, their confidant, and their friend. Is it really that hard to spend ONE hour of your life to make someone else happy? Ugh. Well, I definitely know who is really down for me and who I can go ahead and cut out of my life. And something in me has changed...I hope people can take care of themselves now because I will no longer go out of my way for anyone. I won't be anyones doormat. Thank you soooo much to everyone that came to support me. You have no idea how much it meant to me. NO IDEA. Most people don't appreciate those things as much as I do. Because of my traumatic 11th birthday, every single soul that walked into the tea room yesterday unknowingly humbled and honored me so very much...and I thank you for that. This was the first thing that I've ever had for me...just me. I had an absolute amazing time and I enjoyed every second of it. It wasn't until I left that I started thinking about the disappointment of the absence of certain people that I considered good friends and had SWORN to me that they would be there....and were such cowards that they couldn't even let me know that they weren't going to be there. I just hope that whatever your reason for not coming was worth losing a friend like me.

So, I haven't updated the blog in awhile and I'm sitting here bored, like a loser, on Friday night. My poor baby is laying down with a severe case of swimmer's ear and I feel sooooo bad for him but theres nothing I can do. So, what have I been doing lately? Well, pretty much anything wedding you can think of. Geezus! But its all going to be sooooo worth it. We have gotten almost everything done. We got his ring last week, too! Yay! We just picked up our toasting flutes and cake serving set from a sweet angel at Things Remembered. I've been gawking at them for a few days. lol. Last week started wedding critical time so we've been addressing invitations, ordering bridesmaid dresses, tux fittings, ordering cakes, prepping the menu cards, hiring the dj, reserving rental items, alllllllll the fun stuff. And guess what?? In the middle of the most crucial part of the wedding preparations, the events coordinator at my venue...quit. Not just quit......walked the hell out. So that sent me into panic mode. Not only has she been the one we have consulted with fron day one, but she also happens to be a friend of mine whom I know and trust with my wedding. And the new girl taking over ACTUALLY said this to me "I'm sorry that she quit. Trust me, I don't wanna be doing this. Not to hurt your feelings, but I don't like dealing with brides. I just want your money and to get you out of here." Nice. So anyways, enough about that. I feel like I haven't updated this thing in forever. I got a new phone today! I've officially joined the world of modern technology. I got a Samsung Captivate....and it really is captivating. LOL. Highly recommend it to anyone seeking a badass phone. Its "nothing short of a computer in the palm of your hand" says the Radio Shack dude. lol. So what else has been going on? Hmmm.....well, I'm getting these damn braces off in 2 weeks!!! Supposedly. lol. FINALLY we can take our engagement pictures! We have our cute little matching outfits and everything! Also, Candace is going under the knife again.....more details to come. Its a good thing tho. Well, I will leave you all with that little cliffhanger. lol. I'm gonna go be a good wifey and take care of my love. Tootles!

Today was my baby sister's wedding shower....I say WEDDING shower, not BRIDAL shower because it was for Markie AND Blair. It turned out great and everyone had a good time. Good food and good company....what more could you ask for? OH and for anyone wanting to rent the Lucy Park Log Cabin.....if you unlock the door, put your stuff down and go back out to your car to bring stuff in, the door WILL lock behind you. Yep.....me and Love Bug stood outside in the heat...locked out for 45 minutes. Our purses, phones, everything was in the cabin. It was ridiculous. LUCKILY, we have friends in low places and the door was easily opened with a simple slide of a credit card. lol. I'm usually really good at sliding them credit cards. Haha. I will post (of course) all the pics soon. I got really teary eyed and started to cry at the shower, so I can't even imagine how big of a wuss I'm gonna be at the wedding. I love my wittle sissy!

You wanna know something that really bothers me? People who judge others. Whether it be narcissism, religious reasons, or just plain ignorance. And I rarely do the whole "bitch and vent" blog thing, but we are all entitled to one every now and then and this one is a long time coming.

My main focus today is on my hubby to be. Yes, we all know that Brian is an asshole. Yes, we all know that he and I had a rough first couple of years. And I understand that its my family and friend's jobs to take my side and condemn his behavior. With that being said...guess what?? I have absolutely NOT been the perfect companion, either. Granted, there’s no excuse for some of his behavior (from years ago) but take the time to get to know the him now. He is a completely different person and HAS been for almost 5 years. Also, I encourage anyone reading this blog to keep your relationship problems to yourself. Telling others is the fastest way to cause resentment towards your partner, which then causes you to resent that person for resenting them (got that?). I am a very loyal friend, and am very protective of my family....so I understand fully that its much easier to forgive someone for something they've done to you than it is to forgive something they've done to someone you love. I do appreciate the gesture....but lets move forward, ay?

Its also quite offensive to me that people think I am just this weak, passive aggressive, wuss that stays in a crappy relationship because I have a low self esteem and think I can't do any better. While this was the case many years ago....it is far from the truth now. Let me give you a little run-down on Candace (now I get to brag). I have never had life (or anything else for that matter) handed to me. Mommy and daddy didn't buy my first car, or pay for my college, or constantly bail me out when I couldn't pay my bills (not that they wouldn't have, I just didn't need it)....I have done EVERYTHING on my own. When I turned 16, I got a full time job...then (while still in high school) got a SECOND full time job. I bought my first car and all thereafter, I moved out on my own 5 months after graduation, obsessively built up my credit, bought a house at 22, have a decent cushion in my savings account, and live a comfortably modest life with the man that I love. I never hung with the wrong crowd, drank alcohol, did drugs, get pregnant, or any other mindless ailment that would have taken me off my track. Most teenagers have this big plan to go to college and make something of themselves....while I think that’s great, it was never for me. But I tell you what...I am happy with everything in my life. THAT was my plan. I have waited until I was old enough and responsible enough to get married. I wanted no doubts that Brian was the one I wanted to spend my life with. I do believe in divorce, but definitely not for me. I was raised with amazing parents that may not have gotten along all the time, but we never knew it and they worked it out and are still married. I want that for my children. As most know, I just celebrated my 25th birthday. I think its safe to say that I am not a moron and can handle making my own decisions. Its worked out pretty well for me so far.

I don't want my ramblings to seem like I am unappreciative for the lack of financial assistance I've had throughout life. I am so very thankful that my parents didn't hand me life on a silver platter. I have no doubts that I would be a negligent loser with a couple of car repo's on my credit report and not a lesson learned from it...and more than likely still dependent on them. My parents may not have given me a fancy, expensive education, but they taught me some priceless life lessons. So enough about that, back to the topic at hand. Nobody has, does, or ever will know the Brian that I know. No one sees him cry, knows what hurts him, or knows his sensitive side....and that’s ok. That is his angle. He was taught that people mistake kindness for weakness and its taken me many years to teach him otherwise....still a work in progress, btw. But as far as his love and devotion to me??? I will NEVER in a million years find a man that loves me on the level that he does. Ever. I am his life...I am his family...I am his whole world. Nothing that I have ever done to hurt him has ever changed his love for me. We have been through everything a relationship can possibly go through, and we are still standing stronger than ever, holding hands. In 10, 20, 50 years...I will NEVER have to doubt his love and admiration for me. Brian is and will always be an asshole, but you can be assured that he isn't an asshole to me. He has grown and matured, and indeed, his love for me has grown and matured. He appreciates and respects me as a person first, and then appreciates and respects me as his partner. He would kill for me or die for me in a heartbeat. And that I know. He does so much for me. He cooks me dinner, does housework and yard work and is so conscious and considerate of my needs and feelings. Isn't that what a relationship is all about? We've got this.

I know that I shouldn't care what other people think, but I do....for his sake. It saddens me for him that he, most likely, will never live down his reputation, no matter how much he has changed. But I guess it really doesn't matter. My immediate family and friends know the real deal. And in the grand scheme of things, its me and Brian against the world. : ) I couldn't have found a better man to spend my life with.

It seems like yesterday the whole family was packed in the hospital waiting room just waiting to see that beautiful baby. My best friend in the whoooooooole world got married last night. It was so sweet......then came the party. lol. Everyone had a great time. The free alcohol may have had something to do with that. Haha. And my Jenn dedicated our best friend song to me. We danced to "You're The Inspiration" by Chicago. Her first dance with Stevie was "Then" and her father/daughter song was "I Loved Her First". Then her, Stevie and Braelyn danced to "It Won't Be Like This For Long". Everything turned out perfect. And she hadn't seen her ring until the ring exchange ceremony. It is absolutely amazing. HUGE!! It looks awesome on that angelic little finger!! Congratulations Jenn and Stevie!!! I know you will be happy forever!! I know that my angel is in good hands. That girl is my rock, my heart, and my best friend....the best friend I have ever had...or will ever have. I love you.

Goodness, he hasn't picked out a single item of clothing in the last 8 years, what makes him think that he is capable of handling a huge task such as dressing himself for our wedding??? I got my wedding dress today!!!!! Its super gorgeous! I would post a pic, but I am keeping it a secret until our wedding day. I'm sure David's Bridal was soooo happy to get us out of there. lol. And I ended up getting the first dress I tried on! After ALL that. Its too perfect! AND, its brand new, so I'm the first Wichita Falls bride to wear it!!! YAYYYY!!!!!!!!!

Sooooo........this last week has been a whirlwind!!! Already got so much done for the wedding of the decade!! And.....yesterday, My Jenn rented my bridal shower venue. It is going to be elegant and fabulous.....just like me! ;) September 18th, ladies!! Tomorrow, Brian and I have an appt to look at our possible (more than likey) wedding location and I'll be getting the dress next week. Once thats done, its allllll downhill from there. Now the hardest part is writing our own vows. Ahhhhh! There is so much I want to say to him. I just can't believe we are finally getting married. Wow. October 23rd will be here before ya know it. So, you wanna know what drives me nuts??? My ass is so freakin big that the whole thing won't tan!!! Hahaha! I lay in the tanning bed, and right kinda under my ass....upper thigh (?) won't get any color. I was bent over the other day "picking something up off the floor" and Brian was like "Umm......baby.....I think you missed a spot!" LOL! Anyways....anyone have any ideas? Ugh.....ok, usually I love my badonkadonk....this is my only complaint. Enough about that....so, the weeks just fly right on by....I LOVE it....loving my job prolly has alot to do with that. I remember previous jobs....not mentioning any names.... *COUGH Hampton Vaughan COUGH COUGH***.....that I effing dreaded going to. But I really really think I found my calling! Patient accounts are my life! Haha....that sounds lame....but its not, I tell you!
So.....while I am slamming local businesses...I ventured from my normal nail salon to Kenny's nail's (currently in the mall...hopefully soon in bankruptcy) and got my fill on Thursday, we went bowling Saturday and my thumb nail broke. These assholes charges me $8.00 to fix my damn nail.....really???
Besides that bs, ALL that I have been doing is wedding this and that. My best friend and sister are both getting married within the next 3 months so we have been super busy! I'm pretty sure the guy at A1 Rentals thinks that Jenn and I are marrying...each other. lol. Owell. I've seen worse female couples...and besides, I'd take that hot bitch any ol day. ; ) RLAD!
Anyways, thats all I got for ya today. Im gonna go watch Shutter Island with my love and put him to bed. Love!

So how was everyones V-day??? Me and the old man went to Dallas for the weekend. Hotel was pretty nice and Paul Wall was right down the hall!!! Kinda. Brian bought me some Coach sunglasses, a Coach makeup bag, and a sexual Coach hat. He even stood in line for over an hour for me! Awww! God, I love him! I made it up to him that night, though. : ) We went to like 5 malls, Papasitos (AMAZING Mexican food) and then since our hotel was in a dry county (good lookin out babe!) we had to drive to another town to have drinks that night. LOL! Was worth it though...we really had a great time and it was soooooo nice to get outta town for a couple days.

On a not-so-brighter note.....most of you know about my little cousin. Melinee was in a really really bad car accident on Friday night. She's still not in good condition but is now coherent. Please keep her in your thoughts....and prayers, if thats your thing. My family would greatly appreciate it. Well, I'm going to see my little angel now....I will update on her condition when I find out more. Love!

So I realize it's been awhile since I've updated, however, nothing much new going on. This weekend is Valentines Day!! I'm sooooo excited! Me and my honey are going to Dallas for the weekend for a shopping spree!!!! What better gift to ME than unlimited shopping? Hahaha! And I have a little something for him too. ; )

So, I hope everyone is doing awesome. I couldn't be happier. I live with my 2 favorite boys, Brian and Tony. We go out maybe a litttttle too much but hell, you only live once right?? My bro is a baaaaaad influence on us! Haha! And I don't think Brian has gotten used to my new found attention from the opposite sex. Haha! He has tried to beat some random guy's ass pretty much every weekend. LOL! Can we say nutjob?? Haha! I honestly don't think I've gotten used to it either......wait.....yeah, I think I have! Hahaha! J/P baby you know you're my one and only!! Bitch can't help it if she's got game!! lol. I forgot

So as most of you know, 2009 was a hard, probably the hardest, year of my life. You wouldn't believe how happy I was that it ENDED! With all of my health problems and ughhh......it was just one thing after another. However, I am happy happy happy to report that 2010 has started out just absolutely amazing. I guess my good karma is catching up to me, finally! Thannnnk goodness!! I'm so ready for my break! So far, two amazing things have happened this year. My brother moved home AND Jenn got a job working with me! The start of 2010 has inspired soooo much confidence in the rest of year. Thank you again to everyone that has been there for me through the last year....I would NOT have made it without each one of you.
So, along with "badass 2010" theme - my friend, Linda, got promoted last week! Congrats! You are so perfect for that job and we are lucky to have you there!
So last weekend was a blast! We went to Stage to celebrate my bro moving home. It was a goooood time. lol. Then shopping with the bff all day Sunday! This coming weekend is the Bridal expo and the weekend after that is Markie's birthday & Randi's baby shower! I can't wait to see my bcbs friends! Misssss ya'll!!

Grrrrr.......I HATE being cold. I haven't been warm in weeks...ugh! How did everyone like our white Christmas? Yeah.....I don't ever want to hear anyone say that again! But besides the snow, Christmas was wonderful. My parents went to Ohio for the holidays, so we missed them alot, but we tried to make the best of it. We spent it with our friends and family and had a great time. Lets see......Brian got me another pair of Uggs, the Ugg cleaning kit, 90210 Season 8 (I'm a collector...shut up), makeup, and a little of this and that......*wink wink*
I got a few gift cards to NY & Co....my favorite store EVER!! Everyone said that they went in there to pick me something out but I had everything so they just got me gift cards.....lol....PERFECT gifts!! I got Scentsy stuff, jewelry, Coach stuff from my Ohio family, lots and lots of gifts cards to Victorias Secret, Hobby Lobby, Kohls, Dillards, On The Border, Chilis....wow.....I was truly blessed this year. And I got my fave Juicy Couture perfume. Yummmmy! What a great way to end 2009. It was a painful year but thanks to the people I love, I made it through somehow. I love you all soooooo much! 2010 is going to be painful too......3 plastic surgeries are set for this year......ahhhhh......but it will be worth it. I can't wait for all this to be over so I can just enjoy my new rockin' bod!!!
So how was everyone's New Years?? Mine was fantastic! I got to spend it with my bestest bestest friend, Jenny Boo Boo! After we left Jenn's, we decided to head to Old Town.....not really my kind of place, but its whatever. We were having a good time and then Brian throws up alllll over the bar floor (no one even noticed) and ALLLL over my brown Uggs!! OOOOMMMMMGGGGG I was soooo pissed! I dragged him out by his hair and made him go home and clean them. Haha. Took me over an hour to get his drunk ass out of the car.

So, I have been on a trial period at URHCS since October 5th......well, yesterday, they offered me the job!!! Yay!!!!! I have definitely worked hard for this. I was nervous that I would not find a job that I liked as much as I loved bcbs.....but I am so happy and fortunate to have gotten this job. I loooooove what I do and I looooooove my new co-workers! They are so welcoming and helpful...I for sure am so grateful for Linda! I truly look forward to going to work everyday now. I knew things would fall in place. Maybe I need to rethink my faith. : ) And to top it all off, Brian got my my favorite Uggs EVER!! It was my gift for getting my job. Thanks baby! I love you!!

How is everyone? I'm ab-fab! I wanna start off by saying that I am soooooo excited for Thanksgiving!!! I get to see my little love bug! I love you Tiffer Smooch! OMG I miss her so much it hurts. My Melinee is leaving for the Air Force on March 9th.....thinking about it makes me sick to my stomach...I can't deal with both of my angels being gone!

So its been a crazy few weeks. Last weekend was my Brian's birthday!!! We all went to Stage and gave him drunken lap dances! lol! He quite enjoyed himself I would say! Haha! Then I took him home and put him to bed...mmm...mmmm.....enough about that. This more recent last weekend was my family reuinion. So we drove to Dallas and spent some time with the fam...then, of course, I had to make a quick pit stop at the Coach Outlet! Haha! Got me a a new blackie! Its sooo gorgeous! Will post pics soon. lol. It ALMOST made up for Brian falling asleep at the wheel and almost killing us both. Not funny. I made him stop and get a 5 hour energy shot...so he was good after that. Yesterday, all the girls went to the shopping thing on base. It was supposed to be for Xmas gifts but I only ended up getting stuff for myself. Gah, I'm a lowlife. Then me and Amanda went to Kohls and I got Elijah's b-day gift.....after we all went to eat at Feces Pizza. HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY ELIJAH!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

So, this weekend is my Jenn's birthday! We are gonna do it up Candace & Jenn style! Ya'll know how we do it!!!! LOL! Its gonna be a B-L-A-S-T!

Its been a few weeks since I've blogged.....and some of my faithful readers get a little testy when I don't update so here ya go.....
Loving my new job.....I am falling right into place at the hospital. Sure, I miss BCBS but hell....what can ya do?
All I've been doing is working and shopping. I literally feel like I spend more time at the mall than I do my own home....whether its at New York & Company (an everyday trip) or at On The Border for happy hour, or just walking around. I have a serious problem here. But other than that, I've mainly just been spending time with my baby, my boys, my sis and sis in law, and my Jenn. Braelyn is getting sooooooooo big!! OMG! She is absolutely gorgeous. But who woulda expected any different coming from such a knockout mommy!!

Anyhoo - Well, this weekend is Brian's b-day. Awwwwww! This is his 8th bday we have shared together. He said its the best one yet! I can't believe after 8 years he still makes my heart melt. : )

Soooo.....how was everyone's weekend? Mine was wonderful I guess. Friday was exciting. The crew went to Fats...Saturday and Sunday were relaxing. It was NICE! Anyways........as most know, I started my new job last Monday. I'm a Patient Financial Consultant at URHCS. So far I like it pretty well. On my third day, the entire business office (24 employees) made me a huge gift basket and each of them put something in it with a note attached. It was sooooo sweet. I got earrings, a picture frame, bath & body works new lotion, coffee cups, tons of snacks, nail stuff, a plant, and sooooo much more. It was super nice! I love my new co-workers!
Whats new? Well, Braelyn is getting big and she loves Aunt Candace!!! I will be updating pictures soon. So this weekend will be Jenn's first time to go out in 10 months!!! We are making a huge thing of it. Everyone....and I mean EVERYONE is going. Its gonna be a blast....I am soooo looking forward to it.
So I guess that is all that is new with me. Wow....I can't believe how much my life has changed in 10 months. This time a year ago I was 310 pounds, working at bcbs, friends with skanks & social rejects, had jacked up teeth, and had no life.....hahahahah....my my my.......I sure took some steps in the right direction! LOL! And on that note, I am going to bed to dream of my super awesome new Vacuum cleaner that is coming tomorrow!!! : ) Ta-Ta!

Braelyn Paige Alexander was born today at 3:41 pm at URHCS. She is is 7 pounds 9 ounces and 20 inches long. She is absolutely the most perfect baby! Congrats Jenn, Stevie, and the rest of the family!! We have all waited so long to see you, angel....and you were well worth the wait!

What a whirlwind of a day......I got to hospital at 8:00 am and sat and sat and sat.....they broke her water at about 9:00 am (I didn't look, I swear!) and I almost cried because I could tell it hurt her soooo bad. But she was a super trooper and did amazing!! They gave her the epidural at 10:30 am and then checked her again at 12:30 and she dialated to a 5. Well, at about 2:00, I left to go to my bank really fast and my phone starts ringing....it was Jenn's sister, Jessica.....and right then I knew!! hahaha! I answered and Jess said "She's a 10....she's about to push!! HURRY AND GET BACK HERE!!" lol....I'd been there allllllllll day and Braelyn decides to come 2 minutes after I left. But she pushed for an hour so I was there when Braelyn was born....thank goodness!! I turned right around and sped and ran red lights to make it there on time! Haha.

Right when I saw Jenn, I started crying.....she was so happy and emotional and I couldn't help it. I could see so much love in her eyes. You are going to be such an amazing mother. I love you Jenn....you are my best friend, my sister, my angel! I'm so happy for you both. You are going to be the best parents Braelyn could ever ask for.

So as most of you already know, my position was eliminated at BCBS. I was an "affected" employee of a layoff....don't start feeling sorry me. LOL. It was a great job but I am doing awesome. I got a great severance package and am still insured for a few months. And if by some chance I don't have a job by the time I stop getting paid by BCBS, I am eligible for unemployment....which ends up being more money than I was making at work. LOL. How'd that happen? I guess I was just lucky! Haha. Getting paid to sit on my ass...and shop all day. Anyways, I like working so I am looking for something but I am being VERY VERY picky. I got plenty of time to wait for an awesome job to come along. I have already gotten a job offer and turned it down. There are plenty of good prospects. I will update everyone on my job search. Or I may just go ahead and be a stay at home mommy. ; )

So me and my boys went to Dallas Monday for my Dr appt ANOTHER emg......which sucked soooo bad. But it went well and I got good results...and Brian was there holding my hand the whole time. I didn't even cry!!!! He was proud and he felt sorry for me and in Daniel's words, I'm a "spoiled brat" so Brian took me to the Coach outlet and hooked me up!!!! haha! I was in Heaven. We also went to JFK Memorial again since Daniel had never been there and then we ate at Hooters. Daniel got dissed by the waitress...lol...it was priceless! We had a good little trip. OMG and my freaking Chi broke so I had to get a new one. Brian picked out the polka dot one and it came with a cute little mini Chi so I'm good to go. lol

Jenn's baby shower turned out AMAZING. It was beautiful and all of the important people showed up. She had a great turn out. She looked gorgeous as always and she got SOOOOOO much stuff. Braelyn is set!!!

Well, I'm bored and I'm waiting for my baby to get home so I can ravage him! LOL! How's everyone been?? I'm grrrrrreat! I had my Dr. appt in Dallas annd he said that I have a Thiamine deficiency and I am severely malnurished.....yuck! BUT I am going to be perfectly fine. I had another EMG and it was really really good so I am super happy. We gotta go back to Dallas in 2 weeks. We had so much fun last time....well, besides me passing out at the JFK Memorial. But my Brian was there to take care of me so I was ok. Our hotel was BADASS!!! OMG....and we went to Ripleys Believe It Or Not/Wax Museum...it was fun. We did alot of shopping too. I got sooo much stuff including my fave Ed Hardy perfume....yummy!

OHHH and today my little sister got accepted into the Dental program at Vernon! Yay!! I'm so proud of you, Nic! I love you so much! And my brother is moving back to Wichita in 3 weeks! I'm so happy! Watch out ladies, he's a heartbreaker! lol

Jenn's baby shower is in less than 2 freakin weeks!! OMG! I can't believe it! I am so ready for it though. It is going to be so amazing.....in every way! For anyone wondering (for gifts) her room is hot pink, black, and white with Zebra print and some polka dots thrown in there. It is sooo super cute! So its been a few weeks since I've posted...and I'm bored at work so here goes....lol....
My feet are getting better! Whoo hoo! I have a Neurologist appt today with my local Dr. and then Monday I have an appt with this amazing Neurologist in Dallas. He is in the top 10 in the state! Since my illness is so baffling, he took on my case study. We are super excited! So anyways, me and Brian decided to make a weekend of it so we are going down to Dallas for the weekend. I can't wait to get him alone in the hotel room! Haha. Watch out babe! *Sorry mom, just ignore that*

So me and Jenn have been spending EVERY spare second of our lives on the baby shower of the decade! Invitations are almost done - its a grueling process. But they are sooooooooo cute and sooooooo worth all the trouble. We had to move the shower up to August 22nd because of stupid Hotter N Hell. Bah! But that will work out better anyways. I am so excited that my Love Bug is coming! Love you Tiffer Smooch! I promise I will never try to hook your man up with my friends. LOL! *Inside joke* Then its off to Cody's bday party.

So I have been really emotional since my illness...and no time shows you who really cares and who really matters than your time of need. And I feel like this blog is long overdo. I need to dedicate this to 4 women that I love more than life itself. These people, so dear to my heart, have been there through all the rough times, all the happy times, and everything in between. They are the ones that I can count on when I need a shoulder to cry on. They are the ones that stop dead in their tracks and come to my aide when I need a helping hand. They are the ones that love me when I am the biggest bitch in the world, or the sweetest person they've ever met. They were the ones taking off of work and spending hours and hours with me in the hospital. They were the ones at my bedside holding my hand. They have been the ones that have listened to my worry, panic, and tears and assured me that I would make it through these last 2 months. They are the ones that didn't turn their back on me and would NEVER turn their back on me. They are the people that do not judge me. They are the women that know everything about me...and love me anyways. They are the ones that I would do ANYTHING for....take a bullet for.....commit murder for......sit in jail for. They are my mother, my sister, my grandmother, and my Jennifer. It's sad that not everyone can have such a wonderful, caring, supportive mother like mine, or a loving, strong, loyal sister like mine, its too bad that some people don't know the unconditional, whole hearted love that a grandmother can give...and its a shame that not everyone has the good fotrune that I've had to have found the good hearted best friend that I've found. A friend like that comes once in a lifetime. I will treasure these relationships for the rest of my life. I am so lucky to have 4 such amazing women to look up to and admire. Thank you for being my rocks. I don't take you for granted and I want you all to know just how much you mean to me. The world.

Well, I have been pretty busy lately and haven't really updated on ME. So here goes....I'm still "sick" with these nerve problems but they are getting better. My Lumbar Puncture didn't completely rule out MS...but my Dr. said there is a slim chance that I have it. I am able to lift my foot a little bit and I can move my last 2 toes...so thats really good. I still have to use my brace and it SUCKS! They have me on anti-depressants for the nerve pain (NOT because I am crazy or because I can't be happy with my life without them lol) and its the first prescription that has actually helped the pain but they give me nightmares. Ugh....I hate having bad dreams. But my baby comforts me in the middle of the night after my night terrors. : ) I don't know how I could have gotten through this without him. He has been so amazing. Thanks babe I loooooooove you! So anyways, I guess I should thank my physical therapist too. lol. I think my twice a week therapy is helping. And I'm starting to look pretty bangin in a bathing suit. lol. No loose skin! Oh and btw....I am officially under the 200 pound mark! YAHOOO! I've lost 115 pounds. And its pretty sexual.

So we haven't been doing much lately since its so hard for me to get around but last night we went out to Iowa Park for my Randi's bday party. Happy Birthday TODAY Randi! I love you! We had some good food! Speaking of birthdays, mine was last week! I got some awesome gifts! I cancelled my party at the last minute because I wasn't feeling so good but we celebrated all week long so its ok. lol.

My bestie is getting pretty big! And we find out what Jenn is having on June 2nd! BOY BOY BOY! And you all better come to her baby shower (well, not all of you lol) because I am hosting it and its going to be amazing! We have the venue rented already but we can't really do much else until we find out the sex....so I can't wait!!! And she is the cutest little pregnant girl in the world!

Besides that, its just been ALL about the wedding of the century. lol. I don't understand how two such non-rich people can somehow afford such an expensive wedding, but somehow, they sure are. lol. Markie has champaign taste just like her big sister.....I'm seriously about to call Bridezillas! Oh well, its her special day so I understand her wanting it to be perfect. All the money and hooplah over a legal agreement. lol. Or sometimes not-so-legal. Right, Miss California??

Well, as most of you know, my little sister is now a bride-to-be. Blair proposed to Markie on Mothers Day, in front of our family. It was very sweet. He even thought to ask my dad for her hand. I am writing this blog with a heavy heart. My medical problems are getting ridiculous. I have been diagnosed with Neuropathy and Drop Foot. Which basically means that I have nerve problems and I can't bend my foot upward - so I can't walk right. I have to wear an AFO brace to keep from falling. I have been having test after test but they aren't finding anything else out. My neurologist doesn't know what is causing these problems. My blood tests all came back fine as well. I had an Electromyography last week - which was terribly painful, I had an MRI yesterday, and I have a Lumbar Puncture (yikes) next week. I started physical therapy last week and it seems to be helping. They don't think that it has anything to do with my surgery, but losing 100 pounds in 4 months can cause things to move around and could have put pressure on a nerve or something. Or it could have been caused by me crossing my legs all of the time. Whatever it is, I just hope that they can get rid of it. But I guess it could be worse.......my brothers life long best friend killed his wife and then himself yesterday. RIP Dan and Brandy. Its hard to think about yourself when something like that happens. Well, I guess I am going to sign off for the day. Hopefully my next blog will be more positive.

This is going to be a long one since I haven't updated in awhile. So Candy has lost 90 pounds!!! WHOOO HOOOOO!!! Isn't that amazing? Yeah its all great but I am soooo very tired all of the time. I have NO energy whatsoever...its depresssing. My friend Mariyah had to have iron bags yesterday and I KNOW that I am going to have to get them also...and I've heard that they hurt...so I am not looking forward to that. But as long as they make me feel better and more energetic, I guess it'll be ok.

So my Jenn moved into her new house this weekend. Its gorgeous!!!!!! Now her and Stevie boy can start their little angelic family together. Well...its already been started but you know what I mean. lol.

Last weekend was pretty good.....I got some good stuff on sale at Victorias Secret, went to Jenn's, hung out with my boys.....and most important.....I got a new washer and dryer set! They are freakin awesome. I got the LG front loading ones with a 10 year warranty...good deal! Oh and I went to my Crystal's house and she gave me a little curly up style for free! HECK YEAH! God I love my hairdreser...she's a freakin angel!

Bad news - My Tifinee Love Bug is moving 5 hours away in a few weeks.....its a terribly sad story and I don't want to talk about it anymore.

Good news!! - Yesterday was my little Mel Mel's birthday and we had a fabulous little birthday dinner for her! She is finally 18!! WHOOP WHOOP!! So we are going out this weekend to celebrate......just tell me where you wanna go angel! My friend owns Iron Horse (which is a 21 and up bar) so I got the hookup and he said he would put you little angels on a list to get in.

My new job!

So I was offered a new position at my job. I am sooooooooooo excited about it. I started on Monday and have loved every second of it. I have NO stress whatsoever and don't have to worry about quality or production. OMG its awesome! So I just thought I would tell everyone...haha.

So I weighed last night and I've lost 82 pounds! CRAZY! So my goal was to lose 100 before my birthday - which is May 19th, so I know that I can do it now. I couldn't be happier with my results. Oh and I walk ALL day long now that I started this new job, which is great for me and I feel so much better. Well, I'm on lunch so I guess I better go eat this taco - all 3 bites. LOL!

So not much new here. Just a crapload of shopping. lol. I finally got my perfect kitchen table. YAY! I will post a pic soon - oh and more shopping is in my future because I get my bonus check from work this Friday....YAHOOOO! I worked hard for it though so I'm excited. Anyways, we went to the Bowie flea market this weekend...didn't buy much (no surprise there) just some tanning lotion that is normally $50.00 for $8.00!! Isn't that crazy?? The old man selling them had NO clue what they were...ohhh but I did. I have paid dearly for it many a time. So I started tanning (obviously) last week and I have a little color now....but I think I over did it as usual and got a little burned...it hurts! lol!
Saturday night we had a cookout at my aunts house...so me, Brian, and Jenn Jenn went out to Burk for that. Good times. Got to see my preggers little Melinee and my Tiffi love bug!
Yesterday, me and Jenn went and looked at several houses for her and Stevie. Ohh and we found the most perfect one! Sure, its a little expensive but my girl deserves it and her man makes the big bucks so its all good. The house is freakin huge and it has a gameroom and a big enclosed gazebo in the back with a hottub. So I guess they are starting the paperwork today. I am so happy for her! I'll make sure and post pics of that too.
God I feel like this is the most random blog ever.
So our friend Tina bought a house a couple of months ago and we still hadn't seen it so we went over last night and hung out for awhile. OMG....its absolutely fabulous. She deserves every little bit of it too! You little angel!

First off.....everyone congratulate me on losing 70 freakin pounds!! Yahoooooo! And let me tell you.....gastric bypass surgery is NOT the easy way out. This is the hardest thing I have ever done in my entire life. But ohh sooooo worth it. I am starting to look good again...and feel good too of course. Its amazing! And while I am on the subject of image....I bought one of those Dr. Rey's shapewear things and OMG it took me down 2 freakin dress sizes.....not to mention bulldozed cellulite city! So I have been singing its praises....good job Doc!

I got my braces on Tuesday......yep....they hurt. Badly. My spacers didn't hurt at all but OMG I feel like someone punched me in the mouth a few times now.

So I feel like every single thing that could go right, is. Everything is just falling right into place. Life is gooooooood. I am so happy with where my life is right now. Ohhhh and by the way - 5 more weeks until I see Britney!!!!! I can't way-yait!

I hope everyone had a great V-day! I surely did. : ) Me and the old man went to Dallas to go shopping and I FINALLY got the Coach shoes I wanted. And I found some more that I wanted to I just went ahead and got 2 pairs...lol....they are fabulous. So then we went to Kirklands and I got some really cute stuff for the house. Then we had a romantic dinner from Wendys...LOL....while he was driving down 380 (worst street ever paved) I ate my chili...didn't even spill once. Haha. So that was my gift....OH and of course a really sweet card. And then yesterday he brought me a gps for my car....which I didn't even ask for...and I guess that is supposed to be considered a Valentines gift too. So I would say overall it was a successful holiday. A far cry better than the roses and card that I usually get. Haha.

So I got my teeth pulled on Thursday.....God those shots hurt like a mother. Its not very obvious that I have missing teeth so thats good news. I get my spacers in tomorrow and my braces next Tuesday. I CAN'T WAIT! I want to get them on so I can get them off. I am gonna have a perfect grill. YAHOOOO!!!!!!

So Candace is sick of having a jacked up grill. SOOOO I am getting braces Feb 24th....thats less than 2 weeks! I am sooo ready. I only have to wear them for a year so that isn't too bad. I'm getting clear ones though since I am 23 years old and reeeeeeallllly don't want to be walking around with metal all in my mouth. I'm a little upset because I have to get 2 teeth pulled tomorrow because of crowding issues and my midline problem. Wichi means I am gonna be a hillbilly with 2 missing teeth for almost 2 weeks. That sucks.....really bad, but I know that it will all be worth it in the end. Jesus, I don't know what else I am gonna have to put myself through before I make a perfect little me. Haha. About 10 grand in plastic surgery should cover it. LOL. I am jumping the gun right now....60 pounds lost in a little over 2 months....and no loose skin so far. I think I am doing pretty good. And as if I am not losing weight quick enough, this teeth business is going to assist in the weight loss also. None of you people are gonna recognize me in a year. I'm so excited. Brian told me I was gonna be his trophy wife. Haha! Well, I just wanted to catch everyone up on the lastest news on my extreme makeover. LOL. More to come!

So we got another surprise last night! My little cousin Melinee is preggers too! Yay!!!! Another little angel will be joining our fabulous family. So as of Tuesday, I have officially hit the 50 pound lost mark! Can you believe it???? I am soooo excited! I lost 10 pounds in 4 days! I am gonna be sexual before ya know it. I am about 35% to my goal in just 6 weeks. Me, Jenn, and Markie started Zumba classes on Tuesday. It was rough and I was tired as hell but I made it through the whole class without taking a break or falling over - and that was my personal goal. lol. So we go back today for our second class. I am so excited and I feel so healthy again. This truly was the greatest blessing that I have ever given myself. And my orthodontist appt is Jan 29th for my braces so I should have them put on the end of Feb. or early March. Ahhhhh more pain! : ( Oh well, in the end it will alllll be worth it!

So today is an amazing day!!!! For those of you that know, Brian and I have been dealing with some very ridiculous, very expensive legal issues. Well GUESS WHAT????? This morning was our hearing and the ruling was in our favor!! Brian is not registered anymore!!!!!!!! Isn't that amazing?? After 9 months, and thousands of dollars (all worth it by the way) its all over.....done. I couldn't be happier!! See?? I told you this was my year. It is off to an awesome start!! Now we can get on with our lives and not have this hanging over our heads anymore. My cup certainly runneth over.

So I haven't blogged in awhile.....apparently since my Jenn Jenn got engaged....yeah I still need to take a picture of that ring. Its HUGE....and its actually really real! I can't get over it. But yeah, she wouldn't wear fake diamonds.... ; )

So anyways, I had a Dr. appt yesterday and Papa Warnock says ol' Candy girl is doing fabulous. I am down 45 lbs, my clothes are soooo loose, my back doesn't hurt when I walk anymore (yay) so its all going great..oh and he released me to exercise (minus sit-ups) so Me, Jenn, and my sista are starting Zumba and Pilates classes next week. I can't wait! I want to lose weight slow and steady so that maybe the exercise will actually work at maintaining some kind of skin firmness.

So I was thinking.....this is gonna be MY year. Brian and I are happier than ever, my family is so amazing, me and my best friend are closer than ever, my job is going well, I'm losing all this weight, got big vacation plans...I just don't know how much better it could get. I was telling my grandma about it last night (big mistake) and she said "well now all you need to do is join a church" lmfao.....I love her persistance....but besides the fact that I am an agnostic.....these church people kill me (not all of you ae like this...so no hate mail please) but I love how some people are great christians....on Sunday.....and then the rest of the week feel free to live a sinners life.....ie....swearing, drinking, leaving kids at home to have premarital sex with random people, starting myspace wars (LOL)...I just sit back and laugh....ha...ha...ha.

But enough about those posers....I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years....we had a party at mi casa so I will be adding a slideshow asap. Be sure to pay attention to my shrinking face. Amazing. Well, I love you all...have a happy new year! I know I will!

So I have big news!! My best friend is getting married!!!! YAY!!!! I am so excited. Its so amazing that two such wonderful people have found each other. And you should see that rock! Sorry! I know that it has been awhile since I have blogged. I am doing good and recovering well. I'm back to my old self again and can walk upright and I don't have to carry my belly pillow with me everywhere I go. LOL! I went shopping the other day and bought a size smaller in shirts than I usually do. I am pleased with my progress so far. I am scared of losing too fast though. I "weigh in" tomorrow so I will update. I am ready to go back to work....gah I never thought that I would say that but I am. The vacation has been nice but I get bored and I stay up all night and sleep all day so I am ready to get back on track. Thank you to my loyal visitors, callers, texters....I appreciate everyone that has worried about me and been there for encouragement. The first couple of weeks were kinda rough so thanks to everyone that was there for me. Everyone else can kiss my ass! Haha...j/p....or am I? Haha! : )

So I got home yesterday. The surgery went well. Dr. Warnock said that I was a model patient. Haha. I am still pretty sore when I get up and walk around so I hope this goes away soon. I am so happy that its over with. I can't believe I actually did it. Its so weird. The worst part of the whole thing was that NO ONE (including 2 anesthesiologists) could find a vein to start an IV...so they stuck me 8 FREAKIN TIMES. Yeah my arms are pretty bruised up but I am ok. Its hurt sooooo bad....then my dad saw me crying so he teared up and left the room, then my mom and sister started crying....so emotional. And I have been really emotional since the surgery. I guess thats normal though. After surgery there were about 20 of my dearest friends are family members waiting for me. And going through this, I realized how lucky I am. I don't really remember anything from Monday....at all.....I was severely drugged up but I have been told that I was very lovey dovey and touchy feely....haha thats not me at all so I was surprised. But I made everyone laugh so thats good. My mom and Brian really took/take care of me. She comes over during the day and then Brian has night duty. Of course mom has been doing a great job job but I am really pleasantly surprised by Brian. He hasn't even complained once...even when I wake him up 4 times a night to help me go to the bathroom. Haha. He just does it with a smile on his face. So it hasn't been bad at all. I go Saturday to get the rest of my staples taken out and I will have them weigh me and update everyone. I lost 21 pounds on my pre-op diet. YAY! So anyways, tomorow I can have oatmeal and saltines and Saturday I can have peanut butter and cheese. So even though the thought of food makes me sick right now, if I have to eat something, that stuff aint too bad. Well I guess I better get ready for bed....big day of breathing exercizes and Dr. Phil tomorrow. : )

5 more days!!!!! OMG....I can't believe it. Ahhh I am pretty nervous. I have been on my liquid protein diet since Friday and have lost 12 pounds....wtf? Yeah these protein drinks are effing disgusting. I have tried several different brands and flavors and they are all gross. Maybe after my surgery I will have a new found love for them?? Yeah prolly not. : ( So Monday's the day....I am scared but soooooooo excited. I am just so thankful that I have such supportive people in my life.

So all this Thanksgiving crap sucks. I can't eat...so whats the point in going? (Sorry to any of my family who may be reading this.) LOL! Saturday was my best friends birthday party at Krank It and I couldn't even party it up with everyone else. I'm not much of a drinker anyways but its usually MY decision. haha. But I still had a blast!!

So I will leave you with this....for all of you who are dreading going back to work on Monday.....at least you won't be cut open on an operating table with 6 people looking at you naked!

OMG 10 days until I'm a new woman! I am starting to get nervous now.

So I had my information class all day yesterday, and then my last appt with Dr. Warnock before my surgery. They also did my EKG......and didn't tell me that they were going to....so I hadn't shaved my legs in like 2 weeks. LOL. I think it was a little uncomfortable for Brian, it being a naked thing and all. And then it hit me.....omg.....I am really doing this. Dr. Warnock came in and talked to us for a bit and then he got really serious and said "Candace, do you realize what you are about to do? And are you 100% sure that this is what you want?" I didn't even need to think about it. Of course this is what I want to do. Then he said " Ok lets do it. I'll see you in 10 days." He also told me that all my husband needed to worry about was all the money he was going to have to spend buying me new clothes. Haha! Aint that the truth! Me and my momma went to wally world to get my "new food" last night.....it was fun. I am kinda excited to see how I am going to like this stuff. I'll let ya know.

Only 2 WEEKS UNTIL MY SURGERY!!!

I am getting very excited! I'm still a little nervous, but ready. The time has flown by. So Thursday is my last day of "real" food. I will be going on my salad diet on Friday for 7 days and then for the 3 days prior to my surgery, I will only be able to have liquids.....AHHHH!!!!! YUM YUM! I really don't know how I am going to do it because I get hunger pains really bad. I guess I have no choice though...ugggghhh!

So anyways, I had a good weekend. It was pretty LAZY but good. Friday we had some people over and then I spent Saturday with my little angel Tifinee. Yesterday I just cleaned house, did laundry and watched Kenley. It was a nice day. But they are all nice days if you are happy. And I just couldn't be better right now. I am exactly where I want to be! : ) FINALLY!!!

MY SURGERY IS 3 WEEKS FROM TODAY!!!! OHHH and just to give you a little glimpse of what's to come.....I am exactly the same height and weight as Star Jones when she got her gastric bypass surgery.....take a little look at that!!!

So anyways, I had a pretty good weekend. Brian's birthday party was fun. All of the important people came. : ) We all ate and then headed over to Chuck E. Cheese's for Hannah's birthday party...then it was grand central station in my living room. Haha! Daniel, Amanda, the kids, Jenn, and Tito came over and we all hung out until pretty late. God I couldn't ask for better friends. Saturday was a pretty lazy day and then we had family time on Sunday at my grammas house...and I got to take home all of the food since I won't get to eat it anymore. LOL!

Well I haven't really blogged about me lately so I know its killing everyone to know what I have been up to lately. Ha. Well, last night Daniel, Amanda, the kids, Tito, and Jenny boo boo came over and I made dinner. It was pretty good. Ya'll missed it! Last weekend was a crashing bore. lol. I didn't do much, but me and Jenn watched scary movies all day on Sunday. And ok lemme tell you.....seeing little Jenny Gump (all grown up) naked in a movie was too weird.....ahhh.....too much.
So this week should be just as boring as its predecessor. I have no plans yet, which is really unusual. My family reunion is this weekend but I am not going. I'm thinkin about taking in a little Christmas Magic action. Friday is Brian's bday/party so that will be fun. Well, I know this is absolutely boring....so I'll stop. Preists I'm out!

Now, even though I pay for it, I would be more than happy to share with you people some amazing news that I found out!! Brit Brit is going on tour in January and Dallas is one of 20 U.S. cities that she will be performing at.......so of course, we all know who will be there!!!!! Backstage.....anxiously awaiting to meet her idol! So its gonna be hard to keep my cool but I am gonna play the chill card. I just have a feeling she will want to be best friends (sorry Jenn and Jamie....this is Britney we are talking about!) hahaha! Anyways, so if anyone wants to come along....I would love that. ROADTRIP!! And I get discount tickets for being a member of the fan club. OH and in other amazing Brit news....her new song "Womanizer" broke records and went from #96 on Billboard Top 100 list to NUMBER FREAKIN 1.......in 1 week! That is amazing!! So this was an alright weekend. Friday me, Markie, Jenn, and Aimee went to Parade of Spas...it was pretty fun. We got lots of free stuff - which is always nice. After that, me, Brian, and Markie went to Hastings and bought a few movies and then went back to the house and watched Over Her Dead body. It was alright. Saturday was work around the house day I guess. We painted doors and trim and I trimmed the hedge and made my round bush round again....ONLY....I stepped into a fire ant pile and got stung 17 million times. It sucked. So I stopped for the day. LOL! Yesterday we just hung out at the house, went to eat, and then watched 30 Days Of Night...it was ok (in the words of my dear Jamie! LOL).

I am pumped because I don't have any Dr. appts this week. Ohhh but they are coming. I dont want them taking my blood or any of that nonsense. Ahhh...what did I sign myself up for! I guess pain is beauty though right? ANYWAYS....so I guess that it is for today.

So as we speak, Brian, Daniel, and Amanda are in my living room watching the scariest movie of all time....A Haunting In Connecticut. Its about a family that moves into a house that was formerly a funeral home. WTF?? Anyways, as most of you know, I worked at a funeral home for some time. I was never scared there or thought the place was haunted...people are already dead when they get there right?? Yeah well that does not mean that I would want to go moving into one! Ahhh...anyways, its a "true" story. Its the scariest thing I have ever watched and I hate it! So Candy girl is keeping her fragile little mind sane and stayin out of there!

On a brighter note.....Parade of Spas is tomorrow and me, Markie, Jenn, and Amanda are going to have some fun. YAY! 2 girls days this weekend!!! I will post some pics of our adventure later on. TTYL!!!

So we had a pretty good weekend. We walked for the cure and went to eat. Then me and Jenn swung by my grandparents house for a bit and then came back to mi casa and commenced with girls day. We watched Amityville Horror and Transamerica......ok that was a screwed up movie....and quite boring. Sunday was a lazy day. Me and Brian were both lazy so we just ordered take out and watched 88 minutes. It was pretty good.

Little Jamison called in this morning and left us all alone. It was bullcrap! haha! j/p! GOD I love her!

SHOUT OUT to Danny - Jenn's dad is having gastric bypass surgery tomorrow morning! He is gonna be lookin good for his beautiful wife!

Well Friday was fun I guess....Saturday was the wedding. I was a wreck all day. My little angel got married. Me and Jenn got to the church at 2:00 and right when I walked into the bridesmaids room I broke down in tears and that pretty much continuted the rest of the night. The wedding was gorgeous and the reception was a blast! The Kemp Center was beautiful....but not as beautiful as Tiffy Love Bug! We sure did dance the night away didn't we guys? LOL! My calves are still sore....booo......but not for long!! So my gastric bypass surgery is definitely scheduled for December 1st at 7:00 am...but I have to check into the hospital at 5am...BOOOO.....so I am happy, scared, excited, nervous, optimistic and pessimistic all at once. I have never had surgery or even been to the hospital other than to visit people, so this is a whole new thing for me. Its freakin scary. But I know that I will have soooo many people there for support so I am thankful for that.

Golly, this is a busy month....not only do I have to diet (UGH) but this weekend is race for the cure, next week is Parade of Spas, then Amandas birthday party, Brians birthday party....and all of my pre-op appts for my surgery. OMG....how am I gonna do all of this?? Hmmm......Jamie or Jenn should go get my blood work done for me! LOL! haha!

Over the past few months, I have noticed several little fun things that come along with being a homeowner.......things that I would normally pick up the phone and call my landlord to deal with....but noooooo......so I was taking a bath the other night and all of a sudden BLACK sewer water starting coming into the tub and shooting out of the toilet! You have never seen a big girl jump out of a bathtub so fast! LOL! So 2 days and $155.00 later....its fixed. Plumbers are expensive but hey...they earn every penny! Thanks again!!

So I have ab fab news!! I just got approved for my gastric bypass surgery today!!! Isn't that amazing? They already denied me once and I had almost given up hope but I called today to check the status of the appeal and what???? She said "ummm accoring to these notes, you have been approved Candace" I just started crying my eyes out like a loser.......but anyways.....this is a magical day and I wanted to share it with you all.
